SEVERNSIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL

 

takes place on Saturday 2nd August at The Plough Inn Pilning and features a spectacular line-up of bands from around the region including Last Orderz, The Plan, Studio Arcade, Countryside, The Operation, The Hats, First Degree Burns, The She Creatures, Malakai and the legendary American Drifters. Gates are open from 12.30 pm and the whole thing kicks off at 1.00pm. There are a limited number of tickets available from The Bristol Ticket Office or via the website. For more info visit

Severn Beach United Church.

 

On the Saturday 5th July from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm there will be a Strawberry Fayre on our Church lawn (inside if wet). Stalls, Side Shows and a Raffle etc. Price £3.50. Tickets from Amy Jones (Tel: 632704) and Church Members. Please come and join us.

Saturday 23rd August, Trinity Hall, Pilning Entries taken on the morning, Categories for flowers, fruit and vegetables – if you are not a gardener try Home Baking or Photography, Classes for Children under 14.

Join our Choir Trip

St Peter’s Special Choir are going on an outing to the

 BLACK COUNTRY MUSEUM in Birmingham, Saturday 20th September.

Departing Pilning at 10am we aim to spend at least 4 hours at the museum, after which the choir rehearses at Quarry Bank Cong. Church for 1 hour. Tea will then be available to anyone. The choir are giving a concert at 6.30pm and expect to arrive back in Pilning at 10pm. If you would like to join our coach party call Pat on 01454 632670 for details.
